I need a breather.

The rest of this week and weekend through Monday is INSANELY busy for me. I have a zillion and one things to do for Big Squish's birthday party, about 56 pieces of furniture to paint before then, family photographs on Saturday morning, several evening activities out on the town, and a trip to mentally pack for next week. That said, I am going to have to step away from The Southern Eclectic until next Tuesday. I know I know, womp womp womp...

BUT you know I would never leave you hanging for an entire week! So I planned a week's worth of daily activities for you to keep you busy in my absence:

Today, Wednesday June 16:
Check out Martha Stewart's 60 Days of Summer. Tons of amazing things to do from crafts to cooking are featured, most of them with the goal of helping you beat the heat. My favorite...the ice cream treats. SIXTY suggestions! The Watermelon Bombe and PB and J Pops look particularly delicious, don't you think?!

Thursday, June 17:
Be inspired by J.Crew's photo shoot on location in Guatemala. The looks are all charming with hints of both tradition and eclecticism intertwined. Right up my alley!

Friday, June 18:
Take a peek at the work of my favorite artists of all time, Emma Bridgewater. You'll look and think, artist? Trust me. The pieces are amazing in person. Hugely popular in the UK, her work and designs are nothing short of extraordinary in the most simple of ways. From tea pots to mugs to glass decanters, there is literally something for everyone. I want EVERYTHING! My personal favorites are the Polka Dot and Black Toast patterns, as well as the lines for children.

I will most definitely be buying this tea set for a daughter if I ever have one!

Saturday, June 19:
Wake up and lounge around in your pajamas, then look at my guilty pleasure websites and very favorite blogs:
- Nursery Notations {for the mommy's out there}

Sunday, June 20:
Enjoy an amazing breakfast involving waffles of some sort! Suggestions:

Monday, June 21:
Buy me these Prada boots as a reward for making it through such a manic week. Bueno? Oh and while you're at it, I would still like the Miu Miu East-West Pailette Satchel. Thanks.

Y'all have an awesomely wonderful week. I'll touch base soon!
xoxo Sheridan

  1. Hey Sheridan!
Lizzie Peterson here (you know me as Lizzie Palmer) and I just wanted to say a. Hello! b. I now want waffles and c. I love that you have a little piece of Sark on your blog! Inspiration Sandwich singlehandedly got me through some pretty horrific times and I had totally forgotten about Sark until I saw that. Hope all is well!
