I am quitting this blog so that I can figure out how to go make enough money to afford the following dresses. At $200,000 a pop, {no, you aren't seeing things and that is not a typo}, it is going to take me a while...
Seriously though, these are the most amazing garments I have ever seen. Really honestly ever ever ever. They are on par with 18th century Marie Antoinette get ups. But maybe even better because I would truly wear them. My mother-in-law had the privilege of actually attending the show and said it was breathtakingly amazing. There was an *enormous* golden lion in the center of the arena - I'm talking many many many stories tall - with one paw resting on a large sphere that was at least 9 feet tall. You can see it in the background of most of the pictures. The models came out of that sphere...too cool Karl. I saw some of her snapshots from the show and they instantly blew me away, so much so that I had to rush to style.com to find more photographs...
This is without question the most beautiful shade of red I have ever come across in my entire life. You complete me, red dress.
I will wear these with that pink Oscar dress from my blog title from morning till night and be as happy as a clam until the cows come home.
I want to be 6 feet tall and model in Paris so I can wear these at least once. Wait...but then I couldn't eat that giant bowl of pasta I just had for din din...never mind. I choose the pasta.
The thing is, if I actually had $200,000 to spend on ONE dress, I never could. There's just no way! As cliche as it may sound, think of all the good that money could do elsewhere other than being drained in one go for just a dress...because at the end of the day, it is just a dress. I'd rather use it to save the world :)
