Kbos and I {sometimes I call Biz Kbos...starting now} went to a breathtakingly beautiful wedding this past weekend in Newport, Rhode Island. The picture above is a shot of Thames Street from an old postcard and trust me, nothing has changed minus the carriages. It is exactly as you would expect an old colonial seaside town to be - I loved it!
The wedding was a morning ceremony with a lunch reception held on the veranda and lawn here:

I'll pause and allow you to pick your jaws up off of the floor.
Gorgeous, no?

We had an afternoon break to regroup and prepare ourselves for a night of dinner and dancing here at this castle:
The band was set up in front of that little mini castle in the wall. {Obviously the tables were moved for pleeeenty of dancing space...proof below}
I wore a black cocktail dress that I actually bought as a bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding a couple years ago. Yes it still fit at 4 months pregnant! *doing a jig*

Dress - Elie Tahari, Shoes - Louboutin, Earrings - Prada

I know these resemble torture devices but they are actually shockingly comfortable. For reals. I danced for 4 hours in them.

Bambino!

Love these earrings. L-O-V-E. Recent purchase from Neimans Last Call sale so I didn't have to pay full price = even more heartsies.
Best part of the night were the sunglasses borrowed from an old, dear friend of mine. My coolness really shines in moments like these. Especially when you see the photo below...

Oh yes. They flip up.
Please still read my blog.
xoxo
