How I Wore It :: PRE-PREG SKINNY JEANS!!

Y'all. I got into my pre-pregnancy skinny jeans today. I'm not gonna lie though - it was an uphill battle the second my foot slipped into the leg. I had on Spankx {the Target line she does, which is just as good and half as expensive by the way} but I definitely needed about 6 more pairs. You know the jean dance? Where you like jump all around kind of doing lunges trying with all your might to pull them up?? Yeah. That was the scene in my closet this afternoon. I was this close to laying on the bed and using pliers to pull the zipper up. I wasn't going down without a fight though and I WON! I have a bruise on my hip {not a lie} because they were so tight, but it was worth it. Had to look good for the baby shower I was headed to! Doi! {So ok, my brother sent me a text message today with the word "doi" in it and I wonder why everyone quit using it?! Amazing word. Life changing. I'm bringing it back.}

Everyone soak this in because it was the first time in the past four weeks that I haven't been wearing something on my bottom half that was made of at least 90% spandex with an elastic waist, or Biz's pajama pants. And I am already back into that routine as I type this. And plan to stay that way at least through the end of February. And my hip bruise is happy.

I loooove these shoes. Prada. A surprise from Biz - in Aspen - over New Years - two months after we met. He left them behind my pillow so I found them when I got into my bed. ROMANTIC!!! The heels are purple flowers with a stem...see? So lovely!

Jeans - Ralph Lauren. Shirt - Theory. Jacket - Escada, a gift from my super sweet {and super stylish} mother-in-law. I wear it ALL the time.

Also love these earrings from Biz. Hard to tell from the photo, but they are a little cluster of diamonds that make a flower. They were my anniversary, have a baby, and first Mother's Day present all wrapped into one. Understandable ;)

Dutch. We call him our Zoolander dog because he is just like a male model. Gorgeous on the outside but nothing between the ears.
