How I Wore It :: White Out

This past weekend for Mother's Day, one of Biz's brothers and his wife hosted us down at their ranch for the weekend. I apologize for not posting something special for all of the mommies out there but the internet connection was in and out, and in all honesty, I knew I couldn't top the post I did last Mother's Day on my mother - found here. So I took a little blogging breather, loaded up on scrummy desserts and played at the beach {yep, ranch had a beach, very cool}.

I did an impromptu What I Wore on our last night so forgive the casualness, but the outfit was so comfortable and relaxed that I felt a few snapshots were in order. White from head to ankle...my toes donned some of my favorite Tory Burch sandals I picked up in Los Angeles a few years back at the National Championship game at the Rose Bowl. {Still love ya Colt! Hook 'em!} I don't wear them nearly enough and threw them in my bag at the last minute. Glad I did, as they added a teeny yet much needed pop of color and fun to my all white ensemble.

White tank top - random store on Bleecker in NYC, White tee - Elie Tahari, White jeans - my Juicy Couture maternity jeans that I LOVE and still wear all the time!!, Pom pom sandals - Tory Burch

My favorite. A locket from Biz this past Christmas.

Love keeping my boys next to my heart.

I love the feeling of hair blowing in the wind, so I had to take my braid out and just let it go wild.

And a few photos from the rest of the weekend...

Munchkin's second plane ride. Total trooper this time - happy girl from takeoff to landing!

I adore this photo of Biz and Big Squish.

...and this one of Biz and Munch!!

The spring-fed lake had a little built-in beach on it which was absolutely wonderful. Must figure out how to get Squish a beach for his birthday!

Mom, don't throw me in. You are so uncool.

Heartbreaker in the making.

I hope you all had a tremendously relaxing Mother's Day weekend. Give yourself a pat on the back for gracefully {ha?!} making it through the toughest job in the world. Which, according to MSN Money, would pay $138,095 per year if we were paid for being a housekeeper, day care center teacher, cook, computer operator, laundry machine operator, janitor, facilities manager, van driver, CEO and psychologist. I also think zoo keeper needs to be added into the mix.

As far as I am concerned, the only acceptable forms of payment are hugs and kisses.

xoxo Sheridan

  9. Thanks for all the sweet comments on my looks! Wow!! I don't have a secret, but this is what I do:

    1) adhere to a Paleo way of eating - check out Robb Wolf's book, The Paleo Solution
    2) for exercise I only do CrossFit - I don't have time to do anything else and the 20 minute work outs fit the bill!

I will post on each soon if you are interested!!

  14. YES-Please do a post on Paleo and the workouts! I am in desperate need of some motivation. I have 3 little ones under 7 and have gained about 20 extra pounds with the last one and would like to get back into shape. None of my clothes fit and leggings have become my best friend:/ Thanks for inspiring!
