So I had totally planned to have my reader requested "Summer Bags That Won't Break The Bank" post ready for today...but alas...I do not. For some reason when I explain to my children that Mommy needs to work {because I mean obviously a nearly 2 year old and 5 month old comprehend English perfectly}, the only response I ever get is "TRAAAAIIIIINNNSSSSS!!!" Maybe Squish speaks Spanish or something and doesn't understand my lingo. Hang tight until next week for this because I have so many great options to show you, several of which are less than $100. They are amazetastic times eleventy billion. For now, can we please discuss the image above? Do we like?? No like? Brave - check. Lots of color - check. Unexpected - check.
I LIKE.
I want to do it in shades of pink. With glitter. And for some reason I have a sudden urge to go play Candy Land.
Also - the always lovely Sarah Tucker is featuring a guest post I did on her adorable blog today, Fairy Tales Are True. The post is entitled "Fairy Tales Are True...After Kids?" Head over to check it out and prepare to spend a good 4 hours looking through her photographs. She and her huz JB are like Barbie and Ken reincarnated. Actual photo of them taken yesterday:
Though I did advise her against wearing the hat. But she still pulls it off beautifully.
Heartsies.
TGIF!
xoxo Sheridan

Just read your guest post on Sarah’s wall… and got goosebumps. I so loved it and its so true. Life is funny, and doesn’t always go the way we’d like… sometimes all you can do is laugh!
ReplyDeleteXo and after that story… girlllll say hello to 1000 new followers :)
Looking forward to hearing about all your favorite bags! I'm such a bag and shoe whore- always on the hunt for the "new perfect" one. Be sure to throw in some oversized clutches- loving those right now! :)
ReplyDeleteLove! But I'd probably do shades of gray because I'm.. boring. Or, I'd make each beam removable and swap colors as I felt necessary. Shades of blue one week, yellow the next.. green and red for Christmas?
ReplyDeleteok I LOVE this! Coincidentally...I started painting the kick plates of my staircase today (all different sea glass colors) I am totally into creative stairs!!!!

I'm dying over those stairs. It looks so fantasic because it's surrounded by white, especially the stair risers and tread. That would probably be a nightmare to keep stairs clean white and take constant painting but it looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteheartsies - i love it. you crack me up.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog thanks to that post on Sarah's blog. LOVED your story, am now following your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteA good game of Candy Land is hard to pass up! Especially with two cutie pies! :) Tanya
