I officially met my 2011 blog goal of 500 followers this past Sunday!! I really cannot even begin to tell you how happy and how humbled I am, particularly to have been able to mark this off of my list 6 months early. I am thrilled!
Now...what to do about that 500-mark milestone?! In addition to all of your comments on here I received several emails. I looooved all of your suggestions! One reader came up with the idea of a 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway. Genius! Maybe that will be in the cards for Sheridan French 2014 when I am a bit bigger :) I also adored the idea of naming an item from next year's line "The 500." CUTE!! Everything is already lined up for 2012 though so unfortunately, that option was out the window as well. Sad day. I will definitely plan for this as I reach the 1000 mark though!
The three most popular suggestions overall were another giveaway, a reader discount and a Reader Q&A. Oh how I wish I were the size of Tory Burch and could do a mass discount for everyone! This I have made note of on my wish list though for the future. I will DEFINITELY be doing another giveaway, but will most likely wait until I have items from next year in stock so you can be the first to get your hands on those goodies. So, that leaves the Reader Q&A!
You ask. I will answer. It's as simple as that! Once all the questions come in, I will respond and post everything together at once rather than commenting back on here. Anything {within reason now} goes.
At the end of the day, I hit my goal of 500 because of YOU. Thank you - each and every one of you - for your endless support and wonderful ideas. I would not be here without you <3
Now I can't decide...should my goal by end of 2012 be 1000? Or 2000? 2000 scares me....
So I think that should be it.

Congratulations, Sheridan! I love a good Texas girl as my beau's family is all from Longview and I LOVE the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. At any rate, do you ever do custom orders or do you have sleeveless tunics available? I have this killer Lela Rose wrap skirt in a fun "citron yellow" color and I think one of your tunics could be so much fun with it. Let me know if you can collaborate...

Yayyyy for 500!! I'd love to see you reach 2000 before the years over, that would be HUGE. Even if you fell short you'd be past the 1000 mark, which is by no means a small following either. Can't wait to see the Q/A post, I'd start listing questions myself but I have too many and would rather you not think of me as a creepo!

Also, you have talked a lot about your mom's chocolate chip cookies, and I understand you may not want to share that recipe, but I am wondering if there is a recipe you would recommend...there are sooo many out there!
