Kyle over at the awesome blog Knight Moves featured the Hollis Crib by Nurseryworks the other day and I have been trying to figure out what I can sell to be able to afford it ever since. At the gut-wrenching price of $3500.00, I have a long way to go. For some reason Nurseryworks has now changed the crib name to the Vetro Crib on their website...I can't figure out why though as it is still known by everyone as Hollis for being inspired by Charles Hollis Jones, a pioneer in acrylic furniture design.
Other than the fact that the bed is basically the coolest thing I have ever seen in my entire 26 years of life, I love that it is the least prison-like crib I have come across given that the bars are clear. It is also crafted from recyclable and non-toxic lucite. This would work well in ANY nursery - modern, vintage or surrounded by antique mahogany furniture.
Another sign I need it is that we considered {well, more like I considered and then told Biz we were considering it} naming Munchkin Hollis. I just love that name. So yeah obviously it's a total sign and this crib plus me are meant to be.
Need now.
xoxo Sheridan
